If you do not agree to these terms, please click on the "I Decline" button below or immediately cease using the service. If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be able to access certain features of the site that are available only to registered users. Collection of Personal Information

In order to become a registered user and engage in certain activities on this site, such as (but not limited to) ordering products and posting photographs and other content, dotPhoto may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, dotPhoto may require that you provide us personal information, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and other personal identifying information. When ordering products on the site, you may be asked to provide a credit card number.

Use of Personal Information

dotPhoto collects this information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you order merchandise, for example, the information is used to complete the transaction and deliver the merchandise to you. Also, if you view photographs or other gallery content on the site, the gallery owner will be provided limited identifying information about you and the time when you viewed the content. If you have sent or received an email invitation to a gallery, the owner will have the capability of tracking limited visit information about you. dotPhoto also uses information that you provide as part of our effort to keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other dotPhoto products and services.

dotPhoto recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of this information. If you do not want the information you provide to dotPhoto to be used to inform you of other products and special offers from dotPhoto, and you indicate this preference when you provide the information to dotPhoto, dotPhoto will honor your preference.

In addition, dotPhoto may selectively provide certain information (such as your name, email address and/or postal address) to other companies or organizations that have products or services we think may interest you. dotPhoto may provide this information to such companies and organizations as part of an electronic database or by other means. If you do not want the information you provide to dotPhoto to be shared with other companies, and you indicate this preference when you provide the information to dotPhoto, dotPhoto will honor your preference. You may change your privacy preferences as discussed below.

International Transfer of Personal Information

dotPhoto wants you to know that the site is hosted on servers located at our trusted hosting partner in the United States, and that when you submit personal information through the site, you are submitting that information directly to those servers in the United States. Also, when you submit information with respect to a particular activity, such as ordering a product, you understand and agree that in order to complete the activity and update related files, dotPhoto and its subsidiaries, affiliates and trusted vendors may need to transfer, store, and process your information in any of the countries in which such entities maintain offices.

Use of Cookies

In order to improve our site, we may use "cookies" to track your visit. A cookie is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card, recording your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. (For some Web pages that require an authorization, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies will probably not be able to access those pages.)

While dotPhoto uses cookies to track your visit to the site, and the IP/Internet address of your computer is automatically logged on Web servers, this information does not identify you personally and you remain anonymous unless you have otherwise provided dotPhoto with personal information.
